Each month we host a cookery workshop in Square Deal, delving into the rich culinary backgrounds we have resident in our own communities. This year's workshops have taken us all over the world, with contributions from Huntly residents, visiting artists, team members, artists joining via zoom from half way across the world, and local chefs alike. We've cooked staple Indonesian food, comfort tattie mash multiple ways, Michelin star standard dishes, shared poetry, traditions and everything in between… we've even chucked some stuffed pumpkins into a fire! We finished up 2022 with a potluck dinner open to all, with a big invitation to everyone to bring along their own favourite dishes to share with others.
We hosted this meal in Square Deal and had an amazing variety of delicious dishes, including pies, noodles, pasta, mash, biscuits, chocolates, potatoes, crispy kale and pulled venison!

There is no need to bring along a dish to this dinner if you're unable to or don't want to! However, if you do and ingredients cost would be a barrier, please email jess@deveron-projects.com who can help you out.
