Januario was in residence with Deveron Projects in summer 2022 for Sonic Border, a project tracing (and imagining) the migratory journeys of plants, people and birds. 'Kazumbi' in the Angola Kimbundu language means “ghost”; for this Friday Lunch, Januario shared a journey from a personal perspective, peeling away layers on cultural identity and production and talking about the power of certain objects that had shaped and influenced his artistic practice.
