Ayá»Ầ Akínwándé was our artist in residence from November 2021 to January 2022 for The Town is the Archive, exploring the archives of the Huntly Express. As part of the project, Ayá»Ầ made three publications which shares the poems and headlines of the Huntly Express newspapers published in the 19th century, along with stories from today's news. For this special Friday Lunch, Ayá»Ầ joined Chris Saunderson, who reports for the Huntly Express, to talk about the history and future of the town's paper, and to launch the publications.
