Hielan’ Symphony

Be the melody in the symphony of your life

Jonathan Lockwood Huie

Paul Anderson is a world-renowned fiddler, known for his ability to perform in a style true to his instrument and its traditions. He came back to work with us through 2013-14.

Paul comes from an Aberdeenshire farming family, growing up in Tarland at the edge of the Hielan' Ways area. Its landscape, people and history have been a part of his life since childhood. It is a landscape he is familiar with, at ease in; often walking, looking for inspiration. But the land has more to tell, more to offer than idyllic views and bucolic strolls. How can we reconnect, re-experience and explore the historic use of this land in which Paul walks?
