"ON SUNDAY people can try their hand at hand-spinning using a drop spindle. The full-day, free workshop open to everyone is part of Christine Borland's Flax Turns project, which explores the history of Huntly's flax and linen industry. The artists involved – Christine, Lynne Hocking-Mennie and Daisy Williamson – are all connected through their interest in textiles but come to this project with different knowledge and skill sets and their process of co-learning will be shared in the workshop."
