Walk to the Weeping Willow, following February's Farmers' Market!
Our first market of the year came around, and turned our stall into a makeshift movie theatre, the Eurotelevison Cinema to mark the second anniversary of Britain leaving the EU on 31st January 2020. We were screening Clemens Wilhelm and Jan Martinec’s film The Brexit Tree which follows the story of Clemens' project The Weeping Willow Tree and the impact of Brexit around Huntly, the country and the continent… there was popcorn too! After the market, we took a walk down to the Weeping Willow Tree to continue discussions about how we're faring a post-Brexit town and country.
The Weeping Willow Tree is located on the banks of the River Deveron, and is fully accessible via well maintained tarmacked paths.
