Ben Macfadyen has come to Huntly to develop a story of the White Wood. Located in the Bin Forest, the White Wood celebrates peace between nations and ecological regeneration with 49 oaks from Germany, next to stones from France, planted in Scottish soil.

Ben and others are cycling an oak sapling to Paris, to be planted there during the COP21 International Climate Conference. Join Ben on the first stretch of the journey, from Huntly to Gartly.

We will leave Ben at Gartly, and cycle back to Huntly, totalling 10 miles, approximately an hour cycling time. All Welcome!
