Initiated by the United Nations, World Refugee Day raises awareness to the issues affecting refugees around the globe. This Saturday from 4pm, Under One Sky project artist, Iman Tajik will be live in conversation with Pinar Aksu.
Pinar is a human rights activist, Development Officer for Maryhill Integration Network, works with Active Inquiry and World Spirit Theatre, and is Ambassador for End Child Detention.
Both Iman and Pinar have direct knowledge of the UK immigration orbit, and have both spoken through their work about the experiences and rights of migrants and refugees.
There will be opportunity for Q&A from the audience.
