Ed Garrett works for the Community Learning and Development service at Aberdeenshire Council, and is based in Huntly for some of the week. When not working he has been lucky enough to have edited and co-written a number of books . His latest project Community Work: Theory into Practice (co-written with Karen McArdle, Sue Briggs and Kirsty Forrester) will be published by Policy Press in February 2024. Ed joined us to give an introduction to the book, and how writing has informed his own practice as a community worker.
