For this week's Friday Lunch, we were joined by Jamie and Roland from the Community Chartering Network (CCN) to share their work around community empowerment and responsible environmental stewardship. The CCN are partnering with NESCAN Hub to pilot Citizens Assemblies in towns across Aberdeenshire, bringing people together to discuss and explore what a Just Transition to a more sustainable and fair economy would mean locally.
Jamie Hamilton and Roland Playle are co-directors of the Community Chartering Network: a UK-wide network set up to explore and establish new models for community engagement and rejuvenation around shared lived experiences of place, and essential rights and responsibilities.
