Want to get down with the worms, and up to speed with the soil? Join us at a Compost Workshop with our gardener in residence, Lindy Young! We’ll be learning about what makes a really great compost heap, how to put together an organic fertiliser that plants will love, and ways to create your own wormery. There will be quizzes, cool facts and getting our hands dirty, and mud cake, jelly worms, tea and coffee to keep us going. This workshop is free and suitable for all ages!

The Brander Garden is located behind the Brander Building, accessed via a small step up through a gate. The garden is set on two levels, with the bottom level accessed via steps. An accessible bathroom is located in our office, accessed via steps or via a wheelchair ramp through the main Brander Building entrance.
