Initiated by the United Nations, World Refugee Day raises awareness to the issues affecting refugees around the globe. To mark this day, Under One Sky project artist, Iman Tajik is asking everyone to post an image of a flower on their social media, as a gesture of welcome to refugees around the world.
The image can be a photograph of a flower or something which contains a flower motif or print, or a drawing of a flower. To take part, simply post the image on your own social media with the hashtag #flowersofwelcome and #worldrefugeeday. Please invite your friends to do the same.
