There are many things to learn from looking at a tree. A tree mirrors the place where it grows. It grows deep into the ground and high into the sky, as well as in all four directions. It unites all the forces in the universe in its shape: rain, wind, clouds, sunshine, soil. Artist Clemens Wilhelm will consider how the tree can be a useful metaphor for thinking about society and many other facets of our experience as non-trees.
