Rhynie Woman (formed by Debbi Beeson and Daisy Williamson) are a collective raising awareness of our landscape and its history
primarily through food and foraging. Taking a ‘field to table’ approach (foraging, honouring local food, traditional recipes and celebrations) they created a platform which promoted dialogue, skill sharing, and the exchange of ideas. This work shares their recipe for pesto from wild garlic, which grows in the woodlands nearby.
Accessibility: This artwork can be viewed at all times and is installed on a bench just off a path. If you are driving, you can park your car by the Huntly Motors, across the street on Deveron Road or next to the Huntly Cemetery.
