This fixed-term training position is a new, pilot role within our small team. We aim for this Traineeship to offer training, support and development in arts and cultural production for a young person (16-25) who lives in Huntly or the surrounding area.
We have formed this role in recognition of the barriers young people in Huntly face to accessing training and education in the arts and creative industries, particularly in relation to our location, but also due to their identities and lived experiences (class, disability, caring responsibilities etc). We’re working to break down these barriers to the arts, along with the structures that support them. Find out more about how we’re doing this in the job pack.

Deadline: Monday 22 January 2024, 11am
Salary: £12/ hour (National Living Wage) – equivalent to £23,400 pro rata.
Contract: Fixed-term, 8 weeks, 15 hours per week (0.4 FTE)
Location: Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
Role benefits: There is an access budget and money for research and development attached to this role. We will work with the Trainee to identify suitable use of these budgets.
